The Tongass Trading Retail Division is comprised of eleven departments that serve Southern Southeast Alaska locals, fishermen, and over a million tourists that visit beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska each year.
Now hiring for full time, part-time, and seasonal employees to work in our stores as cashiers, stockers, and general sales and service.
We have openings in Menswear and Ladies wear clothing, Outdoor & Workwear clothing, Footwear, Sporting Goods, Marine & Hardware, and our Furniture Store.
Also currently hiring for the 2023 Tourist Season, May through September:
Outdoor clothing, Footwear, and Sporting Goods Clerk/cashier positions in our Curio Souvenir stores Cashier/sales positions in our clothing stores Stocking/warehouse positions in our Curio Souvenir stores Furniture sales and delivery drivers Responsibilities may include:
Ringing up sales Customer service Stocking sales floor merchandise Sales floor recovery Processing merchandise in the warehouses Opening/closing cash registers Skills/Abilities Customer service friendly personality Ability to work hours and days as needed Reliable Energetic Ability to perform in fast-paced environments Ability to quickly switch back and forth between tasks Job Types:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
